What is the Spanish Film Festival?

Spanish Film Festival is a unique film exhibition initiative allowing people based in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and broader audiences to discover and engage with a carefully honed selection of cinema from Spain and Spanish speaking Latin America.

When and where does it take place?

The Spanish Film Festival takes place in Amsterdam from October 28th until November 1st , and from  November 4th until the 8th in Rotterdam and The Hague.

Where can I buy tickets?

In what language are ASFF interviews held? Is simultaneous translation provided?

ASFF interviews have interpreters to English-Spanish or vice versa when needed.

I accidentally bought the wrong ticket, can I exchange it?

Which films are presented at the festival?

We offer a selection of cinema from Spain and Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.

Who organises ASFF?

ASFF was launched, organised and solidly programmed by Sin Fin Cinema. The Spanish Film Festival is organized throughout the year by a very small core team, which is supplemented annually with new team members in the run-up to the festival.

Can I use Cineville?

Yes, if the corresponding cinema allows it.

How can I volunteer at the ASFF?

I want to see a specific film screening; what should I do to be sure of getting in?

To get into a viewing, please first purchase the ticket here or on the box-office of the cinema. If you’re purchasing the ticket at the box-office, make sure that you come early so you can be certain that you will have the tickets for that special viewing.

Do you offer a student discount?

Please check the corresponding cinema to see if student discount is applicable there during ASFF.

Are ASFF viewings live-streamed?
